The latest addition to our Rotwild range is the Merlin hunting nicker. The classic nicker shape combines traditional forms with modern materials. The Sandvik steel 14C28N used provides excellent sharpness and corrosion resistance with high hardness (60-61 HRC). The rounded handle fits optimally in the hand and thus also allows for use when curling. The additional deep finger recess of the Merlin RWF 05 is a perfect hand stop. Both together make it possible to work comfortably and for a long time.
The knife is delivered with a handmade cowhide sheath.
*The stabilization process changes the wood significantly: structures and grains become more intense. This makes each knife unique. The product photo is an example.
